Greetings Montana FFA! My name is Reagan Long and it is my privilege to introduce myself as your 2024-2025 State 1st Vice President. I am incredibly humbled by this opportunity to serve you this year alongside my dedicated teammates. I have been active in FFA throughout high school in the Shields Valley and have become passionate about the vital role that agriculture plays in my community and across Montana. Although I do not directly come from an agricultural background, I am excited to show each and every one of you the diversity that the FFA Organization has to offer. I am a firm believer in the idea that FFA has a place for every individual, and that any member can promote agricultural advocacy.

My time in FFA has involved competing in a variety of events, but my favorite has remained the Extemporaneous Speaking LDE. This competition in particular has helped me to develop skills that are applicable, not only to careers and education, but everyday life. FFA has also shown me the value of connections through networking. As we enter this new FFA year together, I encourage all of you to make the most out of each moment in the blue jacket and forge new relationships. Pursue growth in every opportunity and leave a positive impact on those around you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, as my teammates and I are at your service to provide assistance at any time.
