The Fusion Career Summit serves to further the personal growth and leadership development of FFA members. This is the inaugural career summit for Montana FFA members and is an expansion of what was previously our Growing Our Leaders’ Development (GOLD) Conference. This is a special project made possible through the support of our various partners.
In the past, this conference has been for high school seniors and freshmen in college and has been targeted towards students who ultimately desire to take on leadership roles in the agriculture industry after their time in the FFA jacket. This year, the summit is expanding this offering to include juniors, sophomores, and freshman.
GOLD Track = High school juniors, seniors, and college freshman will participate in résumé development, networking, and engaging with industry partners during career panels as well as focused activities such as: professional personal growth workshops, practice interviews with industry professionals and FFA Alumni, seminars from partners in higher education, apprenticeship training programs, and workforce employers; practice job interviews and rapport-building, and career interest surveys.
BLUE Track = High school freshman and sophomores will be attending workshops lead by National FFA facilitators. The journey of leadership begins with self-discovery. Students will learn what makes them unique and learn strategies to become a more confident and capable version of themselves. We explore values,
strengths, decision-making skills and self-confidence. The conference culminates in students developing their
personal mission statement.
The 2024 Fusion Career Summit will be held January 8-9, 2024 at the Helena College Donaldson Campus: 1115 North Roberts St. Helena Montana, 59601.
